Our role
BPM Projects performed an Independent Project Review which focused on optimising the capital investment and minimising project risk. Part of the review was meeting key stakeholders to understand critical aspects of the project.
The review methodology included meetings with Project personnel and detailed review of existing project documentation, reports and plans.
Key aspects of the Project Execution review included the following key areas:
- Project Objectives
- Project Scope Definition
- Project Organisation
- Contingency (cost)
- Schedule
- Contracts & Procurement
- Engineering Deliverables
- Operational Readiness
- Project Controls.
Key Features & Outcomes
BPM provided a series of key findings and recommendations via a detailed report which addressed wider implications of some of the findings.
Recommendations were ranked by categories of importance, allowing the client to determine which items were immediately actionable.
Feedback from our Client has been positive – they advised that the report provided was actionable and prescriptive and has allowed them to implement the findings directly back into the business.
