Flood Modelling
BPM Projects applies advanced predictive flood modelling to deliver a clear, data-driven understanding of flood risk across both existing assets and proposed developments. By utilising industry recognised platforms such as HEC RAS and QGIS, alongside detailed topographic survey and rainfall data, BPM develops accurate simulations of water flow behaviour and peak flood elevations for a range of design events, including 1 in 10, 1 in 100, and 1 in 500-year rainfall scenarios.
Drawing on experience from complex stormwater investigations, BPM has successfully undertaken flood studies across multiple terminals, depots, and pumping stations along the Eastern Seaboard. These assessments are focused on identifying loss of containment risks, operational vulnerabilities and the key drivers of site inundation.
