Asset integrity underpins the work BPM Projects delivers across every project and client engagement. Much of our work supports sustaining capital improvements across operating facilities, including bund design and upgrades, bund rectification works, bund penetrations, flood modelling reviews and line replacements.

While these types of projects do not always correlate directly to immediate profit, they are critical to the long-term reliability and safe operation of assets. We increasingly see our client operators prioritising the integrity of their sites to maintain operational efficiency, protect the health and safety of their workforce and safeguard the surrounding environment.

Flood Modelling

BPM Projects applies advanced predictive flood modelling to deliver a clear, data-driven understanding of flood risk across both existing assets and proposed developments. By utilising industry recognised platforms such as HEC RAS and QGIS, alongside detailed topographic survey and rainfall data, BPM develops accurate simulations of water flow behaviour and peak flood elevations for a range of design events, including 1 in 10, 1 in 100, and 1 in 500-year rainfall scenarios.

Drawing on experience from complex stormwater investigations, BPM has successfully undertaken flood studies across multiple terminals, depots, and pumping stations along the Eastern Seaboard. These assessments are focused on identifying loss of containment risks, operational vulnerabilities and the key drivers of site inundation.

The value of this approach lies in its ability to translate complex modelling into practical, actionable outcomes. For operating facilities, clients can prioritise asset integrity initiatives, mitigate risk and plan targeted capital works with confidence.
